Would you like to help preserve our printing heritage?

The Norwich Printing Museum is recruiting to a small number of voluntary positions on its Board of Trustees

Whether you are an experienced museum volunteer or trustee, or just an enthusiast for the history and practice of printing, you will be very welcome to apply to join our Board of Trustees.

Deadline for applications: 1 July 2022.


New Trustees will ideally have skills and enthusiasm in one or more of the following areas: 


Leadership and decision-making

Public education

Printing history


Design history


Museum management

Marketing and publicity

Secretarial skills


Managing volunteers

Norwich and Norfolk life


As a Trustee you will be able to:


Take part in management and decision-making processes for the Museum

Bring your own ideas and enthusiasm to the Museum

Engage with other museums and collection-holders in the UK, and with the societies and funding bodies which support the Museum

Enhance public education and understanding of printing’s heritage

Benefit the community by helping to run a popular resource and visitor attraction

Receive induction and ongoing expenses


Time commitment. The Board of Trustees meets monthly or bimonthly throughout the year, in Norwich (with the opportunity for those living outside the area to join meetings via Zoom), as well as conducting some ad hoc committee business between meetings.
